I've been listening to a ton of Beethoven and Haydn lately, here's the impact it had on my improvisation.

Nice and relaxing to listen to and good restraint used. I think the 1st and 3rd one are more of the style and the ones I enjoyed the most, the 2nd one seems the odd man out and more modern sounding even with those classical tools. I loved the use of cadence, those musical full stops always make me go "ahhhh" like sinking into a warm bath lol.

Hi lostinidlewonder, thanks! Here are four more...several of these were exported with a "Walter" fortepiano setting, sounds quite appropriate for the style.

I agree with your comments. Sometimes I make rather glaring voice leading errors, which, do not really sound "wrong," don't work with the style...because the whole point of these old styles, I think, is to emphasize thirds and triadic harmony. Anything which thwarts that will stick out like a sore thumb, because of how pure the sound is supposed to be. Its funny, I actually couldn't tell you specifically, in textbook fashion, what the errors are called, but I know they are there. The fourth one of these, while it has some good stuff, I definitely slip up a little later on in it (and again, it doesn't sound wrong, so much as, it could have been better). Perhaps I should try my hand at composition one of these days.
