Part of me wants to say yes there will be another master, but realistically I don't see much hope of another Bach, Mozart, Beethoven etc. who is transcendent. The classical music biz just doesn't work that way any more.

Bent definitely works better for me. When I bend my fingers there's less tension in the rest of my hands, which prevents any injuries.

And the answer of course is: none!  or: 0 ::) (except if you count "playing doctors" at preschool then 2  ::) but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count).

The question: It's about minor scales (and I only started learning about minor scales) so I want to know: from the three minor scales (natural, melodic, harmonic) do you have a favourite one? And if you do which one?  :)

I would say that there are more..

just as a start...

dorian, phrygian, aeolian (natural minor), and locrian modes of the major scale are all minor in tonality.. locrian is ofcourse a bit different with the flat 5..   jazz minor is also pretty interesting at times.

I like using harmonic minors over dominant 7th chords..  ie. D harm minor played over A7

also, I quite like tunes centered on the dorian mode of the scale.

I do not have a teacher, at least, not one that I'm paying to have lessons with. I'm not sure about the difference between a musical concept and a technical concept. Sorry.  :-[

This is quite difficult to answer! I suppose it is a good thing to hold back hate and anger but it may not be the right thing to do. I think it's good to have an outlet for your frustrations and holding them inside, in the long run, may be more detrimental than good.

That depends on the future :).

If you *had* to choose between one or the other, and if money were not an issue (say you make the same no matter what) would you prefer to privately teach piano to the worst student you could ever imagine (just this one student, day in and day out), or be a toll booth operator on a super busy bridge (constant stream of cars all day long, every moment) - either one for 8 hrs. a day, 5 days a week?

A: It depends. If my student is just horrible at playing, I'd much rather teach them. If my student is out of control behaviorally (as in worst I could imagine), then I would rather be a toll booth operator.

I'm not sure about the difference between a musical concept and a technical concept

musical - loud/soft, tempo etc. (anything interpretive) as well as music related theory such as chord progressions, harmony, composition etc..

technical - the physical motions involved in executing the musical concepts.

Probably something with berries, like cherry or strawberry, although I don't know if they had strawberries back then, if that would matter.  Something rich, fatty, aristocratic.  He'd probably be used to fancy foods.  I wonder if he even had something similar back then.

Yeah, I actually do quite a bit.  It depends upon how it's prepared, but it can have a very nice, rich flavor, with a very nice texture.  It's meat can just be so soft and succulent (that word's weird, but it's true!).  It's nice just roasted with some salt, or as Baba ganoush, or mixed in with other vegetables and it can be used in a variety of ethnic dishes (you can also make up plenty of your own ideas, too!).  It can get super, duper soft and nearly disintegrate into a dish, just adding flavor and richness ... You can use thin slices as noodles in a lasagne ...  it soaks up other flavors extremely nicely (sauces, etc.) it's really quite versatile.  I also love it's color :).
