Q:  What is more attractive to you, beauty or truth?
A. When the truth is really ugly, I'd rather hear (or see) a lie sometimes. How nice, though, when beauty and truth can be combined in something like... art, a beloved one, etc.

a:  Not on a fundamental level, anymore, though in high school I thought I was supposed to want that (like I thought I was supposed to want blonde hair instead of red, for one example).  These days, there are aspects that I feel I would like to have change, but it's deeper than just about how I look, it's more about what that means.  For example, I really don't enjoy being out of shape, or carrying around extra weight, and that's because I feel it's there because of a deeper reason that I am uncomfortable with.  Since I know there's a deeper reason, a deeper discomfort, and since my body itself is actually uncomfortable being overweight, I don't feel inclined to just accept it as though "that's just the way I look so I will accept it like that."  No, I as a person inside of myself am not out of shape and overweight, I am beautiful, intelligently governed, strong, and agile, and I like myself like that.  I feel it's only right for my outer appearance and life to reflect who I am inside (and this is the theme of my life in many ways, for years now).

a-ridiculous workout i was silly enough to attempt called 'filthy fifty' i knew in the moments before it began what a bad bad bad idea that was....i.e i was about to step into a world of hurt and mental anguish
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

*i do not do the stupid jumping pullups, i do them old school. makes it much more painful and effective.
i'll just use this to benchmark everyone once in a while, i think it's crazy to try this silly thing more than 3 or four times per year, that might even be too much

Q: why do people regret quitting piano lessons as a kid when they grow up?
A: Because in retrospect, bad or unpleasant experience seems to have been not so bad or unpleasant after all; people just tend to deny what they went through. That's how our memory works.

What I like is an interaction with a person's deeper voice, through writing.  So, fundamentally, I don't just enjoy reading books, I want to feel a living person and experience a living concept on the other side of or in the middle of what I am reading.  I want an insight into a different realm and/or to feel a resonance with ideas that help to highlight my own beliefs more clearly.  In that case, it really depends on the author and their ability to be and communicate with a clear voice and one which speaks to me personally, and then for the concepts to come to life for me.

Question: How many hours of piano do you practice a day?

As little as 0 and as many as 6. I'd say close to 3 on average.
