For the most part, I dispise Leslie Howard's recordings because when he plays, it almost feels like he is just a machine that spits out all kinds of music without any deep interpretation or special phrase development. I also find his touch too abraisive and aggresive, even in the most sensitive works. Some of his better recordings are the Norma fantasy or the Fantasy and Fugue on the theme BACH.
The rest is barely better than a MIDI, and that exaggeration isnt all too extreme.
