Earthquakes
on: November 08, 2011, 06:27:30 PM
So, lately in Oklahoma there has been a ton of earthquakes in the past 4 or 5 days. There was one, on Friday, aftershocks till Saturday, a a 5.9 on the Richter scale on Sunday evening and a 4.0 last night. Where I'm at we hardly ever have earthquakes, anyone else had any earthquakes lately?

I live near the San Andreas fault, so there is relatively high earthquake warning. Haven't had a noticeable one lately though. Had some bigger ones a few years ago though. I imagine there will be another noticeable one sometime within the next few years. There are often a lot of small ones here that no one notices.

I'm so lucky, we NEVER have earthquakes here :)
Or they have said that we have had a few (like two ones on 15 years?), but they were so small that no-one felt them  (not the ones who lives in the epicenter) ;D
Sweden is in the middle of a continental plate, so :P
