A Mozart Problem

I recently have been working on Mozart's Fantasy D minor K.397. I have a technical question regarding the Intro. In my sheet music the first six notes of each measure are marked as triplets, yet notes 7 thru 12 are are not marked as triplets. The whole measure could be played as triplets and sound just fine. But when I play it as written it also sounds fine to play the first six notes as triplets and then play the rest "straight" .  Is that what is intended ?   Also in my sheet music there is a comment that Mozart ended this piece on A7 but that some publisher added the ending after the A7 ( towards the very end of the piece ) Any insight on any of the above is greatly appreciated. Thanks

In the Henle they're all triplets.  Funny, I never realized that.  I play them as sextuplets!  Triplets sound so pedantic and plodding.  I don't get what you mean by the A7.

The measure I am referring to is measure 97 - there is an A7 chord - and then an asterix. At the bottom of the page the publisher states ""The first edition ends here. The work was probably completed by August Eberhard Muller for the B&H edition of 1806. See Paul Hirsch " A Mozart Problem" in Music and Letters, XXV (1944) 209-12"" -  It just sparked my curiousity

Interesting.  I have to confess my ignorance, this is the first time I've heard of this.  It's not mentioned in the Urtext Henle edition which usually lists  every autographical doubt under the sun.
