Piano
Guitar (Well, could be electric)
Violin/Cello (Strings section they can create amazing moods and background for the main line)

Tough choice now, there are so many out there that can sound so nice I'll stay with Flute...

hmmm...

pipe organ.  Pity I don't have room for one...
piano.
French horn (used to play that, but it is a treacherous mistress...)

after that it gets really hard!  Voice, I suppose, but certainly not all voices!

But one of the most haunting sounds of all is a Scottish bagpipe, heard at some distance on a moor on a slightly foggy day...

Who said A gentleman is someone who can play the banjo, but doesn't?  l think you might be jesting with us sir.

My little list of favourites is:

1. Piano -2: Electric Guitar -3: Acoustic Guitar -4: Cello

My hate list is:

1.  Bagpipes -2: Theremin 3: Harpsichord 4: Stylophone

When a search is in progress, something will be found.
