The One Piano - Season One

This is the reality show you've all been waiting for! 12 pianists with different styles and backgrounds in one house... with only ONE PIANO... who is going to play his way to the top?

Auditions will have two stages. Stage one is to submit a video essay on why you deserve to be in the One Piano house and get a chance to win a million dollar recoding/ tour contract. Stage two will be playing live in front of the jury. The jury will determine the twelve people who will live in the One Piano house.

Yeah, this is like American Idol (ugh) meets Big Brother (double ugh). But with a piano (yay)! There will be a separate channel to show what happens in the house 24/7. The world will see how the pianists interact with each other and do the challenges set by The Maestro. The pianists will also prepare a piece every week for their televised performance.

Like I said, there is only one piano in the house. So the 12 will at first have one Piano Pass each, which is worth one hour of practice/ play per day. At the end of each week, one pianist will win a Pass, and one will go home. The pianists will vote among themselves who deserves to win based on the challenges, performance, personal opinion, etc... (they can discuss it in front of the camera) and the one with the least votes goes home.

I believe it was 3 years ago, when I was still new to the forum. I do remember a piano house now that m1469 mentioned being it...
