Pop songs book but not easy!!!!
on: September 14, 2012, 01:15:27 PM
Hi, I am trying to find some piano book with pop songs but all books seem
to be grade 2-3, most book have written VERY EASY in the name of book.
I am almost grade 6, so I would prefer book with a bit harder pieces, any advice? I checked amazon.co.uk but all books seem to be too easy. Big thanks!

Check out the Christopher Norton Connections series. The books go up to a Grade 8 RCM level, or thereabout.
The following book is very good. Some pieces are in the Grade 10 RCM or higher level of difficulty. Don't let the title or cover fool you, it has some serious content.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
