I love my new piano!
on: December 17, 2012, 04:21:43 PM
I just bought a Steinway L from a dealer in College Park, MD (https://www.pianoliquidationcenter.net), and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.  Frankly, when the piano arrived at my home and I played it, I started experiencing some buyer's remorse (no thank you!).  However, since their technician arrived and finished his job, the piano has been perfect.  I've been ranting and raving about it everywhere, and a friend of me told me they enjoy their company here at piano street.  I had some trouble deciding between a 1921 Steinway O traditional style with a mahogany/cherry finish and a 1916 ebony satin traditional style.  I decided to go with ebony satin because I think darker colors make a piano seem more warm.  Anyway just a hello from over here to you folks at piano street I hope you liked my rants :)

Well rather I guess a more accurate title would be that I love my new used piano.  Hahaha!

I remember the day I got my first grand piano. It was some kind of short Steinway, I don't quite remember what (this must have been the 80s or 90s so the models weren't all the same).

So much envy! The day I finally get a job and my own place (still in university for all who wonder), I will definitely purchase a steinway grand no matter what!

Congratulations on your new piano!!!! It's such an exciting feeling isn't it? My husband bought me a black-finish Knabe piano for Christmas, and I'm loving learning how to play.
