Everyone succeeds at one thing and can fail at another. Forgive those people, they are only human.

This is exactly what I was getting at in the hoaxes thread.  In other threads, we've talked about the depression of hand size affecting skill level as well.  Not that I think this was directed at me in any way, just an example:

I can play a couple level 8+ pieces both technically and musically (not ridiculous performance pieces).  As long as they don't have up and down sweeps as I struggle with avoiding injury and simply my hand size when it comes to them.  Probably from avoiding them my entire life.  I then started a thread asking for a bit of advice on improving it.  It is a 'dumb' question if you consider skill level to be equal across the board, since I would clearly would have been lying about my other pieces.  I think people just need to be a bit cautious in judging others.  In no way does that mean it doesn't exist though.

4) Last but not least, do you have any idea how a Google search is affected by this kind of posts? The resource we are on is degraded to junk and gradually lowered in rank because the quality info we had is burried under an avalanche of useless stuff [Google tends to show recent posts and topics first].

I think that's the entire interweb, not just here.

Filtering out bs is just something you should have learned to do without trying, though, knowing what's nonsense should just cmoe naturally, then you ignore it.

Problem solved.

My remarks were NOT directed at your posts or at you, chopin2015. With "this kind of posts" I meant the kind of posts the topic starter was referring to by people with 1) surreal claims of personality and virtuosity, 2) weird topics and polls that make the hair of any serious musician stand on end, and 3) unqualified advice. As far as I know you, you don't belong in that category. Forgive me if I gave you the wrong impression.

Ok doke, I did respond because I feel guilty, but I have a serious issue with conscience, if someone talks about someone going to hell, I start feeling guilty even then.

I can agree that people can speak loosely on here, sometimes I wish I didnt have to sensor stuff, and sometimes I wish I did. I like to think this is a cultured space, and we all welcome our differences and understand that even the people who seem pretentious(i dont feel this towards many people) have something that perhaps we are not understanding or maybe topics like this are actually unnerving, and discouraging. We can all make fun of each other, but it is not the same as face to face itneraction, and no matter how witty our conversations online are, it is hard to identify all emotion present even from our most personable members. Im just saying, you are right in many aspects but this could be directed at anyone, and I responded immediately as well as many other people, me mostly because of consience though.
