I agree with thedoctor4.... Glenn understood this piece better than than most.
The expressiveness is unmatched.
I do like a lot and agree on his interpretation. It is very artistic and musical, I find.
However, to my taste, as in a lot of his recordings, I find that his fenatic personality is also present in this recording. (I really think that it is less to do with how he interpret but how his real personality is...) I don't say that I dislike a fenatic personality. In fact, I think it would sound really good on compositions from Scriabin, let's say...But for Brahms, especially THIS piece, it is a little too much in some part.
But I agree, this recording is worth listening. And I could listen to it many many times. But for my taste, I won't say I like it the perfect...
