Does anyone take ABRSM tests?

these are my grades so far
Piano:
Level 1: 125 Age 6
Level 2: 123 Age 7
Level 3: 126 Age 9
Level 4: 132 Age 10
Level 5: 138 Age 12
Theory: 87 Age 12
Level 6: 120 Age 13
Level 7: 122 Age 14

I'm taking grade 8 in the spring! Eek!

Violin:
Level 1: 127 Age 9
Level 3: 128 Age 11
Level 4: 119 Age 12
Level 5: 113 Age 13
Level 6: results haven't come in yet just took the test last week! (I'm currently 14)

Umm...

How does the grading sysytem work?  :-[

I'm sure that's not 125 percent...

99 or under-fail
100-pass
120-pass with merit
130-pass with distinction
(highest score you can get is a 150, virtually IMPOSSIBLE)

Theory is out of 100.

What's the point of making it out of 150 points, when only 50 of those points will determine a pass or fail? That's silly.
