Okay so I have a competition coming, and I've prepared 4 pieces for it. There's total of 5 pieces. When I first read the competition repertoire requirements, it said I can play a same piece at the semifinal and final. Here are the repertoire requirements : SEMIFINAL: 1 baroque piece and 1 romantic - modern piece. FINAL: 1 First movement of sonata by Beethoven/mozart/haydn, 2 romantic - modern pieces. And here are the pieces I chose : Prelude and fugue no.5(d major) from WTC, Rapsodia Nusantara no.3 for the semifinal and for the final, I chose the 1st movt. From beethoven op.2 no.2, Chopin's ballade no. 1, and I planned to play Rapsodia Nusantara again. But now I have to choose another piece
What would you suggest? Jeux d'eau, chopin's op. 25 no. 7, or Massenet's Valse Folle?
Rapsodia Nusantara no.3 is Ananda Sukarlan's work. You can listen to it on Youtube
