I am looking for suggestions for piano competition music to learn i really want to get into competitions i am (so i have been told) really good.I am trying to learn alreadyChopin - Revolutions Etude Opus 10 nr 12
If you want to win a competition, use this program: Islamey/Scarbo to show u are technically good, and then nail a movement of a Mozart sonata. if you can't do either of these things, you should probably give up right now.
Well, I'll respectfully disagree. I find Clair De Lune to be amply appropriate ... to each's own I guess.
out of all of debussy's pieces, why on earth would you play Clair De Lune!!! it's on that same level of familiarity as fur elise is.
Why does that cause it to be unsuitable for competition? It is a very provocative and challenging piece regardless of its familiarity.
