Okay, let me tell you what I mean by the question:
Which of these works is harder to perform from the standard pianists viewpoint? STANDARD, not a person with arthritis, not a person with hand strength problems, just a standard person that does not have any notable issues.
Every single person has different strengths and weaknesses. Asking to rank difficulty is rediculous in that regard. Unless you are talking about what's harder beethoven 1st sonata or Alkan Concerto for solo piano. Rediculous but an actual answer is available.
You can't ask these questions and expect serious or accurate answers even though they are serious sometimes.
I used to be obsessed with difficulty. Now I don't care. Because it doesn't matter.
I find Bach to be harder than any other composer! Haha but it's all personal. You have to say that from the begining and explain how you have no care or interest in how the answers reflect you or your abilities. You just want to know what is hard for other people.
I know for me fast chords and octaves are easy, where as for others they are hard. But extremely fast nimble finger passages give me more difficulty than most. So I know how to judge difficulty for myself. And for my students because I know there strengths and weaknesses.
To your other post, you are getting a bit rediculous now and you need to tone it down. (See the pun) but anyway, no that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is you will get a load of crap for talking about difficulty when it comes to music because music isn't supposed to be about who can play the hardest pieces. It's about the art and the expression. So go with that more so than "I wanna learn the hard stuff"
I picked Chopin fantasie in f minor because a I connect to it on a very deep level. Yes it's hard but that doesn't matter to me. I can overcome it. The musical aspect is what draws me in.
