Dover recently published a new collection of his works, which I've dipped into but not really played. He looks interesting and I mean to go back to him. His White Peacock is probably his best known work - best known being a relative term here, though it was better known earlier last century. A clear Scriabin influence apparent in his works, though they are by no means derivitave.
For those concerned by such things, his surname is pronounced Griffis, accent on the first syllable, not Greef.
An interesting character who died tragically young.
