May I suggest that Chopin was a genius?
on: October 09, 2014, 10:36:36 PM
;D  I know, this suggestion is not new.  BUT, I am looking at the Chopets again, and suddenly a light shot into my noggin, and that these are not meant as "challenges" but rather as helping aids.  For example, if he has one note held down while the rest of the hand must sweep over others, it's not because he is saying "Here, let's see if you can do THIS!  >:("  it's because he is saying "if you put that finger there and hold it down, see, it forces this particular motion that actually enables you to play the rest of the group of notes more freely!"

Gotta run!

Your grasp of the bleeding obvious continues to astonish.

Oh?  Like what, say you? hmmm?  Or, are you just being a little bit of a you-know-what?  :-*

Hey, I have my work cut out for me, I am perfectly aware of that.

The poor chickens.  What if, say, your chickens started laying golden eggs.  Then you could keep the chicken farm if you wanted to.  Especially if the chickens then grew some glorious golden wings.  Just a little thought. . . back to Chopin!
