chord progression in chorale style
on: December 05, 2014, 12:28:41 AM
Does anyone know a good book for students to practice their chord progressions in chorale style? One that prints out every note in every key, and from basic I-IV-V-I to progressions involve Neopolitan, Augmented 6, etc?
Thank you.

This book is very good, although it will need an accompanying text if the student doesn't know the theory behind the material. It is meant to be read through at the keyboard.

A copy of the Bach chorales is also a great resource to study.
If the Bach chorales is beyond the current abilities of the student, one can start with a hymn book containing 4 part hymns.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
