Hmm,

I checked out that "Whiplash" is an interesting movie, dealing with musicians. Thank you all for the info!!  :)

I have never watched the movie, but when I read "Whiplash", then...the "Masters Of The Universe"- action-figures came into my mind, which we liked during childhood / youth very much:

 :D

There were Mantenna, She-Ra, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, He-Man, etc., too, I seem to remember!  ;D

Cordially, 8_octaves!

I'm amazed that no one else on here has seen it. That ending though!! Throughout the entire movie, my heart was pounding like a jackhammer at how tense they managed to make every moment. The teacher guy was probably the most intimidating character I've ever witnessed that I would actually see myself having a conversation with. I would be very nervous though. Overall, the movie was fantastic. Even if it's not very realistic, the ideas it has are relatable to some degree and the level of execution is just too good to pass unacknowledged. (One slight complaint: It was kinda off-putting how the main character's girlfriend was almost completely tossed aside after serving a really brief and in retrospect insignificant function)

Don't tell me.  I only watch movies after they come out on DVD and my library gets them.  They're free.

Is it worth picking up in a few years?
