please could someone advise me if I can use the piano partner app with a window & operating system on my laptop as I do not have an Ipad. If so, then how can I do this?

I believe the Piano partner App is iPad based via wifi. The piano itself is attachable to PC or Mac via USB to run any number of various software programs available these days though. Best I can tell you, you might want to contact Roland Support.
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.
