Favorite Records
on: October 16, 2015, 06:50:22 PM
So a while ago, I found at the local library a record sale with some really great classics. And it rekindled my interest in records. And the more I looked around the house, the more records turned up. I don't even know where they came from. I found some really great pieces. So I'm asking, what are Pianostreet's favorite piano records. Mine, that I have, include:

One I found of Rubinstein playing the Grieg Concerto and Rachmaninoff Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

The Gershwin Concerto and Rhapsody in Blue

My 1812 Overture Record, with actual cannons, not just percussion.

My 8 disc set of various piano classics. It had Earl Wild playing HR2 and Mephisto Waltz, so that's a plus.

I also have the Schumann Piano and Cello Concerto, the Liszt Concerto (but it's Brendel) and Les Preludes, and one with some impressionist works.
