They were pretty much all college students majoring in piano performance. And then there was me!!
).
that's how I felt the entire time I was at UNT...lol
I am sooooo happy for you Noah. I love that recital hall... playing in venue's like that is so nice. Stage managers, nice green room, usually food backstage -- ushers and janitorial services, too... that's the life.

It is far better to be happy with yourself and your performance and lose then it is to be miserable with yourself and win. --you will lose far more sleep feeling guilty about winning with a poor performance than you ever will losing in spite of a personal best effort.

As long as you don't make a habit of lying in bed counting missed notes instead of sheep.
the Chopin competition!!! guess we need to start a fan club for you and AJ... I cannot imagine what you two will sound like in 4 years.
I have to say, too--if a judge at MTNA said that to you... wow---that meant he was seriously impressed with you and your potential... I mean, damn... that is not something that is said without forethought in the world of piano teachers. Especially at MTNA!
what was that I said about your "future's so bright--I gotta wear shades?"

looks like I am not the only one who feels that way.
we need a name for your fanclub... i.e. the Arcs.
