When Dutch pianist Ronald Brautigam was in Sweden in September to play two piano concertos with Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, we talked with the performer in the midst of rehearsal. The concert was recorded for Helsingborg Concert Hall Play series and - according to Brautigam - Sally Beamish's 1st piano concerto named "Hill Stanzas" and Mozart's 17th, make a very fine musical combination in a concert program. Help!

I am planning to play in a piano festival where Russian music is needed. I need help picking a piece. The past couple of pieces i have learned are:
Libestraume- Liszt
The girl with the flaxen hair- Debussy
The pieces i am looking at are
Montagues and capulets- Prokofiev
Mercutio- Prokofiev
Prelude in g minor- Rachmaninoff
Prelude in c sharp minor- Rachmaninoff
Please help!

And what do you need help for ?

If you played that Debussy prelude and Liebestraum, you can play all those pieces you're looking at. They are all beautiful indeed, but I still do not get what kind of help do you need :)

How many pieces do you need to play ?

Then I still don't get what do you need help for :o You should just pick the one you like most to play for the festival. If you don't know which one you want to play, how will we ? :P

Mercutio > Prelude in g minor > prelude in c sharp minor > dance of the knights

Hardest---------------------------------------------------------------------easier
