ok so even I get a little stumped sometimes at getting the search algorithms to work , even with all my background knowledge of composers , influences, discographies, etc. , I need certain key words at times to get the hits I need (since I'm always reviewing literature and trying to add to my knowledge of the vast literature out there, you sorta of have go dedicate time regularly to listening and exploring, i treat it like my practice time, it's part of knowing your instrument...I digress)....

So I have been curious about pieces that incorporate dance. Not piano music that is influenced by dance or dance movement, i mean actual dancing.

So far the two examples I know of is by Sumera (folks might recall suggestion i made in the past w Sumera for contemporary music, ie 1981 etc.)  w the Homage type work Pardon Fryderyk, where we get hints of Chopin then an interruption w a dance cadenza, then the music returns after i the
'excuse me' ha ha. It's super cool work and  very well pulled off by pianist Zandberga and the version by Yu Fen Chang is also nice (though she outsources the dance cadenza to Vandermissen), then I saw where Dular just stays at the piano and does a percussive cadenza , these leads to the Uehara example I cite as well.
I don't know if how much Lepo gives in terms of instructions on the score as to an outline, exact choreography, or just leaves it open to the whims of the pianist. ie is the cadenza just open to interpretation or is dance specifically called for? or just percussive in nature? then examples with tap would work, in

Any other examples folks can add would be greatly appreciated.

I particularly like those spicey harmonic and modified mode scales common to the Baltic and Croatia regions w hints of Mikuli and the Doinas are evident

as an aside I like her relaxed style, her media kit pictures are slick and relaxed, different, usually pianists in classical world are so stuffy, she's more of a free spirit

the other is Hiromo's Rhapsody in Blue for piano and tap dancer.
but that is for a pianist and a dancer so not really the same but still effective

I'm pretty sure this is not what you are looking for.  Petrushka ballet was for piano and orchestra and dance.  The "3 mvts of Petrushka" for piano solo I'm guessing has never been accompanied by dance.
