I'm having an hard time finding the proper bench height
I'm trying to follow Taubman, Mark and Richman advice that the proper bench height is that one that allow your hand, wrist and forearm to be in a straigh line
Taubman suggests the elbow should be level with the top of the white keys while Richman suggest the elbow should be a bit blowe the key level because only in this way the hand, wrist and forearm can be in a stright line
Anyway, I can't find the correct position
It seems that whatever heigh I choose my elbow is always above the white keys and my hand, wrist and forearm are not in a straight line and in an attempt to have them in a straight line I've to slouch or bend down my shoulder
For whatever reason my bench seems to high, contrary to Mark statement that usally bench are not enough high
Does anyone can suggest me a way to find a solution, or could take a photo of oneself while at the piano with the hand, wrist and forearm in a straight line?
Thanks
Daniel
