I need an estimation - Bechtein piano
on: January 14, 2005, 05:27:03 PM
Hi
I have Bechstein Berlin piano, serial number 25293, 5 feet 7 inches, production year 1922 or 1923, in good condition, and I dont have a clue how much is it`s value! Can anybody help me? I dont need 100% accurate answer, just an estimation from this data.

thanx in advance

I'm not sure where you are, but here in the UK the market seems to support a few thousand GBP for a Bechstein of such an age. So, based on what I know about your instrument I'd say you could ask between GBP 1,000.00 and GBP 2,500.00. This is based on what I see dealers asking for such instruments. Obviously there are a lot of variables I have not been able to consider, but it gives you an idea of the potential significance of value.
