Just abit confused with the wavy line between the treble and bass clef in bar one of Mendelssohn opus 67 no1, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply, the version i am looking at is Abrsm edited by Stewart Macpherson. The line is between the G in the treble clef leading to the E in the bass clef.

Hi thanks for the reply, the version i am looking at is Abrsm edited by Stewart Macpherson. The line is between the G in the treble clef leading to the E in the bass clef.

It is just to underline the continuance and phrasing of the inner voice. It's shaped that way for editing purposes only, a normal phrase curve would not fit.
