Debussy Pagodes fingering help
on: March 24, 2020, 03:30:25 AM
Hello all
I just started learning beautiful Pagodes by Debussy and was hoping to get some fingering help for this bar in the treble clef on page 2. Would you use your third on the c# then bring thumb under or use fourth on the c#?
Thanks a lot

Hi and welcome to Pianostreet.
It is a recurring pattern, so consistency is preferable. Also think about the sound produced with a finger crossing, will a finger crossing allow you to achieve your desired sound.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
