Baldwin Baby Grand BH152
on: January 04, 2021, 05:44:19 PM
I presently play on a 1933 Chickering Baby Grand. I have loved it for 38 years, it's home for me, but I am craving a brighter sound. The 1948 Knabe in my vacation home, has a bright sound which I find is missing in my Chickering. Someone here is selling a used Balwin BH152 bought 12 years ago. They are asking just under $12,000 CDN, approx. $9000 USD. Manufactured in the United States as per the serial number in 2001. Can anyone offer any feedback on this model? Advice? etc.... Thank you.

Get it checked nby a good tech and play it ialls good the us built baldwin's are amazing ,those early 2k from.l pre gibson are highly desirae
However much as I love them lately and especially Ina post corona world the market for pianos and used especially is really soft it's a buyer's market ,china is white hot
I'd work in the price w them however I highly recommend you call and discuss this and ask what he has available w robert estrin,he's a baldwin expert and an really good person to consult ,I would even pay for his advice he's likey to give you for free
