I started working on the Mephisto Waltz about 2 and a half weeks ago and thought I’d record it and see what anyone thinks. Slight disclaimer - the audio’s not great, also please excuse my mistakes and messy passages but let me know what you think and if you have comments about my (developing) interpretation!

Wow, thank you! I generally find Liszt to be quite intuitive and easy to memorize; I also wasn't really practicing other pieces during this time which contributed to the fast pacing. I feel like this piece isn't quite all it's cracked up to be - most of it is comfortable for the hands (besides those infernal jumps at 9:09 ) and it's just a matter of building up speed and not making so many mistakes.
