Ear Training Help

How do you better your ear skills, such as developing relative pitch, recognizing chord progressions, and identifying sharps/flats? I've been using an ear training app called ToneScholar (https://tonescholar.com) if you're want to use it too. It's really good, it’s intuitive,  it’s really improved my relative pitch although it primarily emphasizes voices exercises. I’m not a singer! Just to make it clear, I'm not on the lookout for another app for ear training. I'm just curious about any advice or exercises you may have that are like the app.

Not my domain but there was a time I looked into music theory. I arrived at “Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory: A Complete Self-Study Course for All Musicians (Book & 2 CDs)”. Be careful of the many versions. Make sure u get the one that has everything. I don’t remember but some versions didn’t have answers or something to that effect. I think the one I gave u is the one I got but definitely make sure u get the good complete version not lacking in CD or answers.

Hello, I advise you to practice recognizing and identifying intervals by listening to them and associating them with familiar songs or melodies. Start with simple intervals like the major and minor 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and so on, and gradually progress to more challenging ones.
In additionn, listen to various songs and try to identify the chord progressions used in them. Start with simple progressions, such as the I-IV-V in major or minor keys, and gradually expand to more complex progressions.
