I went once over a decade ago, so not sure how much has changed since then.

I went for one week and had two teachers- Leslie Howard and Nikita Fitenko- and four lessons in total (two per teacher). We could also sit in on any lessons we wanted, and each faculty member had a masterclass which you could play in (first come first served within that hour). I guess those who taught at Chets/in conservatoire departments were more formal than full time pianists like Leslie Howard who was really down to earth.

Most students were up for socialising and I was so tired at the end of it from getting up early for breakfast/practicing/lessons and then hanging out with new friends all evening. But there were people who I only saw at meal times, presumably they just took lessons/practiced/ate and slept. So you can make whatever you want of it really.

Have fun!

Yes I would take fully prepped pieces. Not perfect as it's a learning experience not an audition, but definitely in a place where you've done the groundwork.
