Dear Friends,

I'm publish this piece to continue my dream of recording the entire Well Tempered Clavier,to achieve this feat, I didn't choose a famous acoustic piano, but simple entry-level digital piano, because I'm convinced that even with "poor equipment" but with a lot of good will, it's possible to overcome the difficulties and achieve appreciable results on a collection that often makes even professional pianists tremble.
It was found possible to describe the character of the Eb- minor prelude and of its great fugue as strength combined with seriousness and dignity — and thus answering to the general character of the key of Eb (though the second fugue shows that it can also present a more friendly aspect), but here the agreement between the general character of the key and the contents of the Bach idea is far more imposing. The prelude, with deep, dignified solemnity, advances in 3/2 measure; the longdrawn lines of the melody display great and noble feeling: now clear eyes full of love seem to be gazing at us, now deep sighs are heard, sighs of pain at the limited power of human beings who are able to realize only a small portion of unlimited will.
It was really fun to study it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Greetings from Italy
Carmelo

Really enjoyed this. I think your best so far. One of my favourite preludes and fugues.

Couple of places where either I misread the score or you misread the score or the score is ambiguous.

Are you playing c natural or flat in bar 29? Im afraid my ear training is dreadful. Yes, on checking there seems to be a misread.

Look forward to the fugue. Aha it seems you have already performed the fugue on youtube.
