Let's say that a majority of important musical authority figures agrees that a certain piece of music has a certain amount of musical value if any, and us common music amateurs, etc... considers that to be the standard belief.
Would the important music figures not have given an opinion? What gives you the right to say that all so called pieces of "music" has musical value?
Are there a few million combinations of notes, rests, and note values that gives it's value? If somebody were to drop a few elbows onto the piano, and some credible person called it music, would YOU consider it music?
Musical value is an opinion, not a certainty.
