"mcclintock piano course"...

has anyone heard of this? (details are found at the website: www.lorenemcclintock.com). i came across it while trying to find out more about the various adult method books/courses that might be appropriate for me (no musical background). (i've been "researching" adult beginner books while i look for a teacher to begin lessons with). it seems worthwhile but the lack of any references to it elsewhere (as well as the marketing and price) make me a little wary. would appreciate any advice anyone has....
