The pianist sounds a bit bored during the non-climactic moments. It's not as integrated as it could be. One of the problems I've noticed with learning pianists is the tendency to play "easy" parts of a piece blandly and then show off with surprising speed and volune during a difficult section, creating a disconcerting discontinuity. I listened to this last night, so my memory is a bit fuzzy about the specifics, but I think this point is valid.

The pianist should slow the difficult parts somewhat to avoid wrong notes.

Some of the pacing was a bit awkward: sudden slight tempo changes where it should be gradual.

 That  was  very nicely played , but  the more difficult parts should be played a bit slower to avoid mistakes,and the tempo should be kept at a steady pace. But i really enjoyed hearing that .

The beggining is nice, very calm, just like the introduction is supposed to be. Okay, there is no reason to play the first fast part sooo fast, it's a ballade, not an etude. I mean if that was a performance for the friends, so he wanted to be cool then I understand. The part after the most beatiful one, you know which, is really too rubato, c'mon it's Chopin, you cannot change the rythm. After those octaves and before the scherzando, I think it should be p or mp and then crescendo, like it says in the score, because it's not good to play all f and mf. Nobody plays coda so fast. Again, it's a ballade, not an etude. It's great that he has brilliant technique, but it's about music, not technique.
I was writing while I was listening, so maybe there are too many critics and no compliments, but that's only because if I was writing good things, then I would have to press pause all the time. All in all, very nice performing, with some corrections it will be a great ballade.

Well done and partly really beautiful. I agree though that the extreme tempo changes makes it seem disconnected and that som parts go so fast that they lose emotional content. The speed of the coda is awsome but the precision less so, and the feeling conveyed is of someone running for his life in terror, whereas I think Chopin's intent is more towards anger and despair. But the RH runs on the final page are well done!
