Attached is my first attempt at recording - the volume is rather weak.  This is a Steinway Model D, recorded with a single boundary mic in my living room using a Tascam digital Pocket Studio 5.  Comments and suggestions are welcomed!

This is also my first post, so please forgive me if it doesn't work correctly - I'm a newbie!

YOU HAVE A STEINWAY D IN YOUR LIVING ROOM?!
Wonderfully restrained and mature playing. Perhaps a bit too much pedal -- or so it sounds on the recording. Would love to hear you play some Bach written for keyboard -- anything at all.

Not mega rich!  Was able to fulfill a life-long dream of owning a Steinway concert grand by rolling the cost of it into a home-equity loan, which means the interest is deductible!  I've spent years trying to figure out how to purchase one; the right instrument at the right price finally came along and it all fell into place!  It's a 6 year old piano and I got a really good deal on it from my local Steinway dealer because it was their C&A (Concert and Artists) piano which was being replaced by a new model.  All I can say is dream big, scheme every way you can, and if you want it badly enough you'll find a way to get your dream piano!
