One of my favorite WTC pieces, excellently played! I like the articulation contrast you make between the Prelude and the Fugue, the prelude being very crisp and dry, unpedaled as far as I can tell on one hearing, and then your very lush playing of the fugue, pedaled but never blurred. Your polyphonic playing is excellent, all the voices are clear and distinct but it's very natural, not that "hear comes the countersubject!"  sort of Bach playing one often hears. Bravo, do post more, I really enjoyed this.


"menor Fazioli" it says in the ID tag; are playing a Fazioli, and if so what model?

Hi Arensky, thank you very much for reply the post and put your opinions. First of all is great to know that the fugue does not sounds blured because I certainly use some little pedal touchs but only to mantain a line in the differents voices and to not generate holes in the phrasing. I tihnk in it like a choral fugue or an organ fugue.  About the question of de Id tag the explanation is that I recorded it on saturday at the 3/4 Faziolli from the itatlian cultural center of my city in Cordoba, Argentina and menor because the fugue is in F# minor (Fa # menor in spanish).

Again, it's wonderful. Piano Bach that sounds like a piano (not someone trying to imitate the harpsichord) with all the nuances the piano has, but without sacrificing the clarity of the music. You have an affinity for Bach, keep up the good work!
