Debussy - Rhapsody
on: March 09, 2007, 07:15:11 PM
Hey everyone. I'm posting recent chamber music recordings here, from a chamber music festival in Januar/Februar at the Royal Academy of Music here in Stockholm. First out is Debussys Rhapsody for clarinet and piano.
The Debussy rhapsody is such a fun piece to play. It's really a virtouso thing for the clarinetists, everyone plays it at competitions... We learned it a few months prior to the concert and due to other concerts earlier that week, I didn't have time to practice the finale too much... you're probably going to notice that, heh.
I'll post more recordings soon, some violin/piano pieces and solo recordings. I'm applying for various piano academies this summer and it's time to make some good solo piano recordings... I'll post them in the beginning of next week, stay tuned! And please comment the recordings if you have anything to say - critique, whatever... Always useful to hear.

I don't know if that link ever worked, but I just uploaded the piece here instead.
The clarinetist still has some work to do (so have I, with the finale) as some things sound rather metronomic. Overall, I'm happy with my own playing though.
