Haha quite fun. The glissando variation is a nice idea. Other than that... well, fun. :)

Hmm.  Never heard this version.  You ARE a pro.  I actually enjoyed this a lot and wish to hear more.  I am awestruck.

Fake what?  Recording?  Pianist?  not another Joyce Hatto?  Well, some people didn't believe my chopin etude recording eithe r- excepting they should have since I messed up the ending.

It certainly wasn't a fake critique.  What i think makes a pro - is being able to take something this simple and make it into a wonderous mix of various styles and sounds.  I really liked this!

Soon, I will attempt to put some Leroy Anderson on here to compete with this sort of 'trash fun.'  I don't know why - but I think when people are too serious all the time - it doesn't show much personality.

Why would someone, capable of this seemingly superhuman ability to improvise on "Mary had a little lamb" even post a Chopin-Godowsky midi in the first place?  I would think someone of this caliber would have a busy concert schedule, an agent, and a website.  Can you provide this?  I've listened to way too many recordings to be able to tell the difference.  As for your chopin etude - I haven't heard it.  However, a single chopin etude would be much easier to play perfectly than a sick improv like this.  He most likely ripped it from a cd or something.

It was a live performance, you even hear the audience giggle at the beginning, so I expect it an encore from a concert. But I don't know who the pianist may be. The sound of the piano is amazing, so it could be George Winston or someone of that range...  ::)

Ahh, thats likely why the track ends almost immediately after the piece stops, preventing us from hearing the expected applause.

It certainly isn't a midi, and it certainly isn't you, unfortunately.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Being able to play that well would most likely require one to also be fairly intelligent, and judging by your posts, you do not appear to be fairly (or even remotely) intelligent.
Working on:
Beethoven - Waldstein Sonata
Bach - C minor WTC I
Liszt - Liebestraume no. 3
Chopin - etude 25-12

The pianist is unlikely you, tehpro.  Perhaps you'd care to give us some information on the piano--make and model?

Actually, no it doesn't. Being able play piano at the very highest level of skill doesn't correlate to the intelligence of the player in any way. Take Kissin for example, he can hardly speak. Also see the thread "what if ?". Do you mean that everyone who has contributed to its bottomless idiocy can't be a good player?

When I play, I just press the keys, no profound thoughts required.

As many of you might have guessed, this guy is a fraud and the track is ripped off straight from a cd.

The pianist: Jordan Rudess

Piano: Not a grand, probably the best synth available (whatever it may be =) )

Album: 4NYC
Track: 5 - Lamb Chops

The track is cut from the end to prevent us from hearing the deserved applause.
