Ravel - Pavane pour une Infante Defunte [VIDEO]

Here's number 2/3. This is a much older piece. Its probably over a year old. I've never performed it though, it might be one of those i work on with my teacher next semester.

I will defend the general tempo from beforehand though  :P It probably could use a bit more variation in the interest of expression, but I don't think interpretations on the really slow end of the scale do it justice.

In any case, please give me advice. I am realizing that it is a really great way to focus my practice time.

wrong notes asides it sounds too...bouncy? for me. maybe not enough balance between the melody and harmony in the right hand.  good job though.

As I'm re-listening, I'm realizing that you have a point...It is supposed to have a melancholy, smooth feel. Some lines sound a bit too harsh.
