I know it might sound strange but I am more and more losing all my interest in that sex/male/female stuff. I see of course that there are attractive people around, and I still hear that "voice" of yearning and perhaps wanting to be "with a woman" someday again when it's really time, but the visual impact distracts me and confuses me and I am not feeling like a free person anymore, so I try to ignore it and keep a distance from it as good as I can.

Very deep wolfi and I know how you feel.

When I was younger it was only looks that interested me. Years have taught me that there is so much more than looks and a warm heart and the ability to cook is far more important.

Saying that, the most enjoyable years of my life have always been when I am single and I have just good friends.

P.S. We both are struggling with a difficult piece: you the FI, me the Rev (and Prokofiev too, but in tiny bits: no more than a bar, even half a bar at time... I'll be "old, and grey, and full of sleep" when I'll be finished, if ever!!!); let's keep on encouraging each other!! Your example has helped me a lot...

You, Birba, David, Wolfiu, AJ are making this forum one of the most rewarding, happy and fruitful thing of my daily life. (I'm spending more time in the forum than practicing. But maybe this is a kind of practice too; I'm learning so much, and not only in the field of piano playing!!)

Let me know about your progresses with the FI: please, believe me, you're doing very, very, very well!!!!

I consider you a real friend, too, along with some of the others you mentioned. Some of the other ones I don't know well enough to say that because I've only seen some of their posts. I haven't been a member that long, only since Dec. My friends here are you, Birba, AJ, Kyle and Littletune.

Well, the last few days, I've spent trying to learn how to do those tension relieving exercises that Birba talked about in his video. He says I'm not getting it, though, and he thinks it's not possible to teach over the internet. So I'm back to practicing FI, working on the descending passage of bar 7 - 8 in triplets but practicing it with some tension relieving method (don't know if I'm describing this correctly!). I hope I do better at this than at the Italian technique!  

I spend far too much on this forum too, especially during the day time but at night, I usually practice more and only visit during breaks. Still, it's probably too much time here but it's addicting and fun.

That's not been the case for many years! Those who can remember steam trains will recollet this, of course, but British trains have run on diesel or electricity for a very long time now, as surely you know!

These days, choo choo signifies someone who can actually afford a pair of prohibitively expensive shoes.
