Broken key on digital piano
on: June 20, 2005, 01:27:05 AM
Hello all, I'm having a little trouble. My brother threw a heavy plastic box on my digital piano, and it hit the G key on the scale above the middle C, so I'm almost incapable of practicing, because the key was pushed back, and something broke in there that the key is further back than the other keys, and it is sticking with the G sharp above it. It won't lift by itself, I have to lift it. I'm just wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what I could do... I would be thankful for any replies... 8)

Sincerely,
Mario Barbosa.

Oops... So, my first reaction would be to throw that heavy box at your brother. Then make him drag the piano to a dealer where they can fix it. I woudn't mess around with it myself. Chances are, something is really broken, so you will probably need spare parts. Did I already mention that your brother needs a severe beating? However, not so severe that he wouldn't be able to pay for the repairs.
