Don't forget Tobias Matthay's "The Visible and Invisible in Pianoforte Technique" and Heinrich Neuhaus's "The Art of Piano Playing"

Neuhaus tends to be the more intellectual and philosophical and Matthay the  simpler and more concrete, but both are well worth reading.

Here are a few books in my library:

Basic Principles in Pianoforte Playing, by Josef Lhevinne

Great Pianists on Piano Playing, by James Francis Cooke (has material from 30 famous pianists)

Piano Playing, by Josef Hofmann

Piano Technique, by Walter Gieseking and Karl Leimer

Playing the Beethoven Piano Sonatas, by Robert Taub

I've learned a great deal from reading these books.  Hope this helps....

Regards,
Richard

One book I recommend is THE PIANIST'S PROBLEMS by William Newman.
It's GREAT to be a classical musician!

As suggested i would recommend Hofmann's book 'piano playing with questions answered'. He also writes about his lessons with anton rubinstein which i found rather enjoyable.
Also, as suggested, Heinrich Neuhaus' "The Art of Piano Playing"
I would also like to add, 'reflection from the keyboard' which is Dubal interviewing pianists. I really like this book.
