for me
from easy to hard
fantasie impromtu
Op.10no.12
first ballade
even sometimes i think revolutionary is technical more difficult than first ballade for myself....maybe sounds strange but depends on person
the ballade is more difficult to put it together its just more massive work and musical much difficult

LOL
Who said Fantasie Impromptu was the hardest?! Lol, if anything even Revolutionary is more difficult than FI, but it is obvious that the Ballade is the most difficult...

there's not much to talk about ... the Ballade is the big form from music pieces ... while the two others are just hmm .. a musical moments .. id even say about the etude that its just a mini mini piece ... hm... an etude ... all of them are really hard if u want them preffesional .. but Ballade is obviously the piece to go on a competition

This topic is really a non-issue. Of course, there can be some debate as to the general difficulty of pieces, but I honestly cannot, or rather will not, believe that anyone with a working knowledge of piano repetoire would believe that the answer of this question be anything other than the first ballade. Honestly, why are there posts like this and honestly, why am I spending time replying to them?

Just wanted to say one thing... The question is:
Please choose what do you think is the hardest Chopin piece of those.
That is: Choose what YOU think is the hardest.
If someone picks FI it's either because it's the hardest for them or it's... well, because the others are easier for THEM! Maybe they have a extremely hard time with the 3 against 4? Or... well it can be anything.
I'd say the Ballade though, for many reasons.
