Scarlatti Sonatas

Inspired by the recent (momumental) thread of the complete Scarlatti sonatas....

What are some of the more virtuosic ones? I'm sure there are many, but I need some sort of piece written before my Schubert B-flat to play in a competition. I don't think preludes and fugues are competition material, and I don't know any other larger works by Bach, nor do I have time to learn one. So Scarlatti is the way to go I think, but I have no idea which ones to look into for a competition. Thoughts?

why don't you ask your wise old teacher? He might have an idea as he seems to be good at picking out pieces for people. U could also do a suite by Handel or something like that lol

Bach's second partita is quite easy to learn if you have decent sight reading abilities
