Recital Program
on: July 09, 2005, 09:27:17 PM
I'm tossing around a recital program for next year and would like to see what people think about it.

Bach French Suite No. 4
Schubert Sonata in A Minor, D. 784

Intermission

Liszt Chapelle de Guillaume Tell
Berg Sonata, Op. 1
Ravel Sonatine
Gershwin/Wild Embraceable You and I Got Rhythm

Any thoughts, suggestions, improvements are welcome.

Needs more Brahms :)
Chuck Norris didn't lose his virginity- he systematically tracked it down and destroyed it.

no, I don't think you need any Brahms. But I always like to include a cheezy chopin piece just for show off. Perhaps extra number. But I'm not sure if I'd put Schubert and Bach in the same half, tho

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
