Which is harder?

Brahms or Liszt's paganini variations

not counting the length of the brahms in to much


and are there harder variation by other composers?

Brahms with THREE GOLD MEDALS


But Liszt's is still pretty tough

And no I think they are just about the two hardest variations on this theme.

The Rachmaninoff Paganini Rhapsody is considered quite tough too.

Yeah that too - actually it might just be harder than Liszt's, on second thoughts.

The Hamelin-Liszt-Paganini Campanella is probably the technically hardest though.
