Where is Beethoven?  :o :o
I cannot beleive he does not have a place in your 50 favorite composers!!  :o :o

As a matter of fact, with a generous 50 limit, i think that the big names (Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, etc) should be on everyone's list...

not necessarily.  That's why it's 50 favorite, not greasest.  It's all subjective.
I want an Integra.  1994-2001.   GSR.  If you see one, let me know.

Hard to beleive someone has 50 composers (not 3, 5 or 10, but 50 !!!!  :o :o) above Beethoven in personal preferences.

Actually the sad thing is that I can name another 20-30 OTHER composers I like more than Beethoven XD  Though I do enjoy alot of his sonatas and his Symphony "Pastoral" is truley a masterpiece.  I don't not like him; I'm just a big fan of modern music as you can see ^^

Though I do enjoy the occasional Scarlatti Sonata or Romantic Era Opera...

I see from the original posting that this is not composers FOR PIANO, just composers in general.

In that case, I do feel Ralph Vaughan Williams should be on at least a few of the lists that appear above.

There's some seriously fringe stuff in there (in some cases the pieces I list are the only ones I've heard by the composer; in others, they're the only pieces I like, and the others I've heard by the composer in question I've despised; and I don't much care for most of the operas whence my favourite overtures are drawn) - I think it would be more apt to label this "Fifty composers who have written pieces I like" rather than "My top fifty".
